AFP Oklahoma is one of 174 chapters of The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). AFP, which represents more than 30,000 members in 197 chapters throughout the world, advances philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs. AFP fosters the professional development of fundraising professionals and promotes ethical standards in the fundraising profession.

Our January speaker will be Susan Small, Collections Supervisor of the Foundation Center Cooperating Collection at Oklahoma City University. The Foundation Center Cooperating Collection (FCCC) of Oklahoma City University's Dulaney-Browne Library is an affiliate of the national Foundation Center. The Collection contains information on potential funding from foundations, corporations, the public sector and other sources for nonprofit organizations and individuals. Collection materials also include guides on grantseeking, proposal writing, and other means of fund raising, and texts on nonprofit management/board leadership and giving, voluntarism/volunteerism and civil society.
